Contents
Last Updated: July 13, 2008

Sesh, Inc. ("Sesh") is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This statement discloses the privacy practices for the Sesh? Service ("Service"). The intent of this privacy policy is to detail the information we may gather about individuals who use the Service, how that information is used, and Sesh's disclosure practices.

Users of the Service include users at www.sesh.com as well as users of private label Sesh Web sites (such as www.companyname.sesh.com), where the Sesh service is being provided on Sesh servers in partnership with customers of Sesh's Web Business Solution.

Please note that this policy applies only to Sesh, and not to the Web sites of other companies or organizations to which Sesh links or which are accessed via the Sesh Web site.

By using this Web site, you agree to our Terms of Use. Each time you use Sesh and the services offered thereby you signify that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use, which incorporates this privacy policy, and all other guidelines and policies that may be published from time to time on Sesh. If you do not agree to such terms, you may not use and must exit this Web site.

Privacy principles

  • Your information is your own and you decide who will have access to it.
  • You maintain ownership rights to your information, even if there is a business transition or policy change.
  • You may add, delete, or modify your information at any time.
  • Sesh will not update or modify your information without your permission.
  • Sesh will not sell, exchange, or otherwise share your information with third parties, unless required by law or in subject to your permission.
  • Sesh does not send spam, maintain spam mailing lists, or support the activities of spammers.

Information collected

You are not required to provide personally identifiable information to visit and utilize Sesh; however, in order to take advantage of certain features you may need to provide some personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address and a private password).

When you sign up as a registered user, you have the option to use the Sesh Friends List feature, which allows you to manually enter contact information for your friends, automatically import contact information regarding your Facebook.com friends, and obtain email addresses from Web mail services such as Yahoo Mail, AOL and Gmail. This information is stored on Sesh's secure servers, and will not be shared with any outside parties.

Aggregate usage data

Sesh may collect usage data and other information on all users, including data about their usage of our site and its various features, but it is not personally identifiable except as described below under the IP Addresses section.

Password policy

Sesh does not store your private Sesh.com password on our servers. Sesh utilizes a one-way encryption mechanism to store a hash in a password database. The hash is used for verification of your password; but the password itself is not stored on our server and cannot be determined by us. If you forget your password, a new one must be generated. Your password can be reset by following the Forgot Password wizard. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.

When you sign in to Sesh and enter your password to sign into your Sesh account, it is transmitted using HTTPS (secure HTTP over an encrypted SSL connection).

Similarly, when you sign in, during a Sesh, to a third party Web site that utilizes HTTPS, Sesh in turn utilizes secure HTTPS to transmit the sign in information. Sesh does not store the sign in or account information.

Cookies

At times, in order to offer and provide optimized and personalized services, Sesh may use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. Sesh does not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. You can also disable cookies or otherwise manage them through tools provided with your browser software and with third-party software packages.

IP addresses

Sesh tracks IP addresses and uses this information for diagnosing problems with our Web site and analyzing patterns that help Sesh provide you a better experience. Sesh does not routinely collect any personally identifiable information through its compilation of IP address or the location of computers on the Internet. However, in cases of suspected abuse or service problems, Sesh may use an IP address in conjunction with other personally identifiable information to enforce our Terms of Use and/or to protect or troubleshoot the Web site, our users or others who may be affected. Sesh will not share personally identifiable information associated with IP addresses with third parties without your permission.

Sharing information with third parties

Except as described in this privacy policy, Sesh will not share personally identifying information about you with third parties, unless required by law or when disclosure is necessary to protect Sesh's rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on Sesh.

Social features

From time to time, Sesh introduces features that allow friends to share more information about themselves with other friends, including information about what they are doing on Sesh. Sesh may store the personally identifiable information that you provide in order to provide these services. Whenever a social feature involves the disclosure of personally identifiable information about you to other people, Sesh will either provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the disclosure or will seek your consent prior to making the disclosure.

If you use a bulletin board or chat room on the Site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to, any personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums and blogs.

In any case, Sesh reserves the right to contact you regarding violation of this privacy policy, the Terms of Use, and any other violation of law or applicable regulations and policies.
