Sesh™ has partnered with Plaxo, Inc. to enable the import of your email contacts from , , , , or email software such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.

Note: Currently the only fields which may be imported from your webmail accounts are the names and email addresses of your friends.

Accessing the Import Email Contacts feature

1. Go to the "Account" page by clicking on "Account" on the My Sesh™ toolbar on the Sesh™ Dashboard.
2. Click on the "AOL, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail" link under "Import Contacts."

3. Click the "Start Import" link.


4. The email contact import wizard window then appears:

1. Select the webmail service from which you want to import contacts (AOL, Yahoo, Gmail or Plaxo)
Type in your username and password, and click the "Sign In" button.

2. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
The contacts may take a minute or so to appear on the import list table.


3. Choose which friends to import from the import list table.



By default, none of the contacts are selected. Select contacts by check-marking them. You can also "Check all" or "Uncheck all". Scroll to view all your contacts.

Note: You may import only 1 email address for each contact; if there is more than 1 email address listed for a contact, you will be presented a drop down box for that contact to select which email address to import.

When you have selected all the contacts you desire to import, click the "Next" button.

4. You will be presented with a confirmation page, which you can scroll through to confirm the selected contacts.

After you have confirmed the contacts to be added, click the "Done" button.

5. You will then be returned to the "Account" page.


At the top of the "Account" page, a message in green text states the number of contacts that were imported from your webmail account into your Friends List.
The next time you go to the "Invite Friends" page or the "Edit Friends" page, you will see the imported friends in your Friends List.

Importing your email contacts from software

You can also import contacts from a software-based email application such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, Palm, and vCard files.

1. Follow the instructions above to access the Import Email Contacts feature.

2. At the email contact import wizard window, select "Outlook or Outlook Express" or "Other" and click the "Next" button; both will provide you with the same file import options.


3. Choose your email program from the drop down list, and then click on "Show detailed instructions" in the wizard to view detailed instructions on how to create an email file for import and how to import the file via the wizard.






Upon uploading the email file, the remainder of the import process is similar to that discussed above.
